the private beaches of Cannes

Palais des Congres where the International Film Festival is held
The town is very crowded with tourists and one thing I or we should pay attention is by the time crossing the streets. Imagine, even if it's pedestrian lanes most of the time the cars don't stop, it seemed like they don't care people wanted to cross the street. I've been to some places here but only in Cannes where I found this manner. I jokingly told MK it's nice to be here for I felt like I'm home where cars are priority to pass not the people.
Hmm, so much about the traffic and pedestrians. On the other hand, our 3 day stay in Cannes is not enough to explore and visit some other interesting places to see like the two islets just off the coast named Ile Saint Honorat and Ile Saint Marguerite. The Nautilus, a glass bottom boat, departs every hour in the summer and provides a glimpse of the creatures that live in the waters around Cannes and others. But at least, we were able to dine in at the Thai restaurant and heavenly tasted its spicy foods. Yum!
I have my showbiz side and I really wish to go back in Cannes, hopefully during the film festival next year or next.

Awesome pictures, Shanix! You're looking great and the same goes for La Grande. Oh, I wish the little one was in your pictures too! ;)
Cannes sounds like a really neat place to visit, save for the problem with the cars. Wow...they need to do something about that. lol.
